Zapping Auto Moto Ford Bronco 2023 test: bench for the Bronco
Posted on the edge of the RD 1212, near Pallud, the Savoyard gendarmes saw a motorcyclist coming at full speed. The latter was not alone, worse still, he was accompanied by a child.
Obviously, upon seeing the police, the driver stopped, but it was already too late, the radar had flashed him. 173 km/h instead of 110, that’s unforgiving!
In front of the soldiers, the father tried to justify himself by explaining that he wanted “show how the bike worked, but only for a few seconds”.
Bye bye le permis
Bis repeated in court. The biker still tries to defend himself with the same arguments. He even makes honorable amends: “Following this event which I regret, I preferred to resell this motorcycle”, as reported by our colleagues from Dauphiné Libéré.
But the president of the court did not let herself be softened by all these excuses. “With an 11-year-old in the back, you didn’t really set a good example. Even for a few seconds, an accident can happen very quickly, at this speed. The court should also not think that you resold your motorcycle to avoid its confiscation which is incurred for this type of offense.”
Ultimately, the motorcyclist received a fine of 300 euros and a license suspension for a period of four months.
