Zapping Two Wheels Auto Moto Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide CVO The bagger revival
This Saturday, January 27, a new demonstration of bikers opposed to the technical inspection of motorized two-wheelers (CT2RM) was held. Launched at the initiative of the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC), the latter was organized in Charleville-Mézières (Ardennes).
A popular success, since nearly 350 bikers, particularly from the Ardennes and the Marne, met there. Their action began at the city’s exhibition center in the early afternoon, around 1:30 p.m.
The grouped bikers then started moving through the streets of the city. Their objective was simple: to go to the technical inspection centers of the city, in order to make their voice and their opposition to the CT2RM heard.
New popular success for a biker event
This represents a new popular success for a biker demonstration, in 2024. Indeed, on Saturday January 20, another protest of this kind was organized, this time in Périgueux (Dordogne). The cold did not prevent nearly 400 bikers from gathering there.
There too, the latter shouted their opposition to the implementation of technical inspections for motorcycles. For this, the motto was even to disguise yourself as a cash cow. All in order to send an unequivocal message. A concept that could be taken up again in the future.
Let us remember that many other actions could be organized in the future. The bikers denounce the implementation, from April, of a technical inspection which they consider “useless”.
They cite the MAIDS report, on the accident rate of motorized two-wheelers, to support their point of view. The latter states that 0.3% of accidents involving these vehicles are linked to their poor maintenance and poor condition.
