This Tuesday morning, farmers formed a convoy to go towards Rungis (Val-de-Marne). A plan that the police tried to undermine. This by blocking them on the A 20 motorway, near Limoges, around 7 a.m.
No matter, the farmers did not give up. Seeing the path blocked, they decided to exit the highway in a… spectacular way. They, in fact, forced their way through the guardrails.

Enough to allow them to continue their journey. This time not on a major axis but on small portions and small roads. Having left north of Limoges, they continued on their merry way towards Rungis. And Jean-Charles Chanquoi, member of the Young Farmers organizing the convoy, estimates for France Bluewhat “the orders from Paris encourage us to go to confrontation”.
Numerous blockages in France, particularly in Paris
This comes on a new day of tensions between the agricultural world and the country’s political leaders. Numerous blockages are planned, around Paris in particular. Throughout the country, several routes providing access to large cities, such as Lyon or Grenoble, are blocked.
Remember that farmers denounce the new rules imposed on the farming profession. The fault, in particular, is a disagreement on the taxation of agricultural diesel (GNR).

To sum up
A convoy of 150 tractors leaving the south-west of the country to go towards Rungis was blocked this Tuesday morning on the A20 motorway by the police. Faced with this, the farmers decided to join the secondary network, passing through the safety barriers.
