Customers waiting for the first electric Lamborghini will have to rely on the maxim that all things come to those who wait. Deliveries to customers will not take place before 2030.
Lamborghini has never been the most enthusiastic manufacturer on the subject of electric cars. But the Italian brand finally presented its first electric concept car last year, the Lanzador coupe. A model supposed to foreshadow the first electric Lamborghini in history, planned for 2028.
2028 for its presentation to the public. Because deliveries to customers will take a little longer… Exactly two years, since the first examples will finally be on the roads in 2030.
We can therefore assume that the electric replacement for the Urus, planned for 2029, will also experience a slight delay in its arrival in buyers’ garages. In the meantime, the bull SUV will soon see the arrival of a plug-in hybrid engine to support its mid-career evolution. This new version will probably be unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show next April.
Maserati’s very electric ambition
The brand still hopes to reduce its emissions by 50% in 2025, compared to 2021, and by 80% in 2030. By this time, electric vehicles will still be rare, but the entire range will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid engine. .
And for the record, the Italian manufacturer is not really in need. Last year, he broke a historic record. For the first time, more than 10,000 Lamborghinis left the factory, 10,112 to be exact.
