Do you find the Citroën Ami too sluggish? The preparation specialist BR Performance has a solution.
Although electric motorization is relatively simple, it does not yet offer preparation potential similar to thermal engines. This is the reason why tuners only focus on the cosmetic and chassis preparation of the cars, without touching the inverters and software. However, some enthusiasts manage to offer a little more pep to some models. This is the case of BR Performance, which is looking into the case of the… Citroën Ami.
The preparer now offers customers the opportunity to pass their electric license-free test on the power bench in order to receive a Stage 1 program. The latter offers the Citroën Ami a gain of 2 hp and 2 Nm of torque, to reach peaks of 10 hp for 42 Nm. Above all, BR Performance offers to remove the flange to allow it to target the maximum speed of 75 km/h.
A more powerful Citroën Ami at a high price
This should therefore offer the Citroën Ami a little more vitamins, even if the preparer has not communicated the times. But it would then no longer be possible to enjoy it on the open road legally, the Ami no longer meeting the framework imposed by the legislation. Because remember that the Ami must not exceed 45 km/h to comply.
This makes the bill particularly steep: because to benefit from this semblance of approval, the preparer demands a check for €450 for the complete Stage 1.
