Zapping Two Wheels Auto Moto Honda Transalp 2023 test: the benchmark trail finally back?
A big motorcycle weekend is coming up in the north of France. From Friday February 2 to Sunday February 4, the Enduropale du Touquet will be held, in Pas-de-Calais. Thousands of spectators, notably bikers from all over France (and even other countries) are expected.
For the occasion, Sanef, motorway concessionaire in this area of France, is setting up a great operation for bikers. Portions of its motorway routes will be made free on Sunday February 5 for two-wheelers. Here are the ones:
- On the A 16 in the outbound direction – free for an exit at the Etaples le Touquet toll (n° 26) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Always on the A 16, on the return – free on all exits, in case of entry to the Etaples le Touquet toll (n° 26) from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
A relay for bikers
This type of operation is set up for several major biker events. Let us cite the French Grand Prix, or the Bol d’Or. This involves encouraging motorcyclists to use the motorway network, which is safer for them than the secondary network.
In the same framework of road safety, the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) also organizes a relay for bikers. The latter will be located in Herlin-le-Sec, near Saint-Pol sur Ternoise, at the Leclerc Supermarket, rue de Saint-Pol.
It will be open on February 3 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday February 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorcyclists will have the opportunity to carry out various free operations (screen cleaning, chain lubrication, small repairs, etc.). Find more information on the FFMC website.
