The electric Renault Master arrives with a range greater than expected, which marks a record in the category.
Presented at the end of last year, the Renault Master E-Tech Electric announced up to 410 km of autonomy in its best configuration, equipped with an 87 kWh battery shared within the group. If the value was already very attractive in the category, it has now gone up a notch.
In its 87 kWh version, therefore, the electric Renault Master now officially promises a WLTP range of 460 km, and is placed at the very top of the category. According to the approval standard, this corresponds to a direct consumption of 19.0 kWh/100 km. A great performance for a vehicle of this type, but which benefits from a design named Aerovanthe result of extensive development in a wind tunnel.
Reverse charging for the Renault Master e-tech
As a reminder, the utility vehicle is powered by a 142 hp electric machine for 300 Nm of torque in the high-end version. The 40 kWh version, which offers nearly 200 km of mixed autonomy, has an engine deflated to 130 hp for unchanged torque. In both cases, the Renault Master E-Tech benefits from a 22 kW on-board charger for alternating current charging in the warehouse, or a 130 kW system for fast charging.
It also has a V2L and V2G reverse power system to run external electrical devices or restore energy to the general network. The price list will be communicated at the time of marketing next spring.
