Zapping Auto Moto Test: behind the wheel of the restyled Peugeot 2008!
Driver reports are one of the most important elements of Waze. Google’s navigation application relies on its community to alert drivers to road dangers. Or to give information on the presence of the police or information on closed roads,…
This is why the application must be simple, in order to allow its users to be effective in reporting elements. This simplicity is precisely the subject of a new update. The app’s developers want to make sharing information easier.
Thus, users will now be able to benefit from a new danger icon. The latter brings up a simplified menu. It asks “What do you see” and allows you to choose from various options.
Reporting even easier with Waze
Enough to signal even more simply the presence of a danger on a road, to alert traffic or even the presence of the police. Previously, you had to navigate through several menus to select an option.
This will soon become ancient history. Waze will in fact send the report on its own in a few seconds. The user will then have nothing else to do. The map will be updated.
The update is currently rolling out to Android and iOS users. It is therefore up to you to update your app in order to take advantage of it. As for Android Auto or CarPlay, it could arrive a little later.
