After surfacing on the Web, the Yangwang U7 details a little more and communicates the figures from its technical sheet.
It’s been a few weeks since BYD showed its vision of automotive luxury with the Yangwang U7. This large sedan from the premium branch of BYD intends, like many others, to carve out a good place among electric road cars and limousines. To do this, it will highlight a style as spectacular as its technical sheet!
This is what new leaks on the Web revealed after the official filing of files. According to them, the Yangwang U7 will have four electric machines for a total power of 1,305 hp (960 kW)! A mechanical configuration identical to that of the U9 supercar, therefore.
A range of 800 km for this limousine
With a length of 5.27 m, the limousine has an LFP battery with a considerable capacity of 135.5 kWh. According to the first documents, two configurations will be offered with a version given a 720 km CLTC autonomy, and a “High Autonomy” which can reach 800 km.
The rest of the information still remains at the discretion of the Chinese manufacturer. The local selling price is not known, but the Yangwang U7 should be positioned around one million yuan, or nearly €130,000 based on a basic conversion at the current rate.
