Zapping Two Wheels Auto Moto Suzuki GSX-8S test: a real rival to the Honda 750 Hornet and Yamaha MT-07?
Last year, the Lyon 2-wheel show was a great popular success. In 2024, the two-wheel show will expand with more space, more exhibitors, more events, tests and fun. In total, 700 exhibitors will be present across the entire 20,000 m² of Eurexpo. The main manufacturers of the two-wheel world will be present, but also accessories manufacturers, tour operators, insurance companies, services, etc.
Clubs and associations will be keen to exchange and present their collections to you and you will be able to navigate between the different thematic areas of the show.
The organizers’ objective is to transmit the passion for two-wheelers. To achieve this, more than 4,000 tests are planned. More than 120 motorcycles will be made available to the public thanks to roadshows from the manufacturers present. Tests on the road or on an indoor trail track, which will allow you to discover flagship models and perhaps validate certain favorites.

One of the coolest events at this show is the Top Clef competition for the best motorcycle technician. This year again, the 36 candidates, aged 16 to 22, will be divided into 9 teams of 4 to compete in talent and demonstrate their know-how. Visitors will be able to attend the events taking place over the four days and encourage their team!
This year again, heritage is in the spotlight with very beautiful exhibitions, including one entirely dedicated to the French brand Vincent, a first in France. We will also be able to discover the exhibitions on the 120 years of the FIM, the 50 years of Yamaha YZ or even a superb meeting of the motorcycles of Eric de Seynes, General President of Yamaha Europe. More unusual, an exhibition called M’Auto, will be devoted to two-wheelers which have an automobile engine.
And if you’re looking to start or enrich your own collection, France’s largest motorcycle auction is being organized, with three hundred vehicles on sale over three days.

In 2024, the custom hall is starting from scratch. 9,000 m² are dedicated to it in the heart of what is now called the Lyon Kustom Factory, of which Freeway magazine is a partner. Stands that bring together everything that constitutes the richness of the universe. At the heart of this LKF we will find an exceptional Bike show contest, with more than a hundred machines on display. The jury will be made up of the biggest names in European preparation: Fred Krugger, Fred Duban, Arnaud Mary, Bertrand Dubet and Nicolas Chauvin. There will also be entertainment, a concert stage and tattoo studios.
Throughout the show, organizer Jack Monchanin and his teams have gone all out on the activities for a real interactive experience. There will be something for everyone with RFX MX Indoor and FMX for motocross enthusiasts, old-fashioned trials and the incredible “L’Intrépide” race with pre-war motorcycles racing on a dirt track. Stunt shows, Supermot, the Wall of Death, activities for children and many other things.
A 2024 edition which promises to be the largest and richest in the history of the show. Something to keep you busy for the four days. And if you are a little lost, the 2 wheel show smartphone application will allow you to have an interactive map, the list of exhibitors, the real-time schedule and everything you need to not miss anything of the best of this Lyon show.
To sum up
If you’re looking for the next big two-wheel, motorcycle and custom event, it’s in Lyon, from March 7 to 10. There you can discover the Lyon Kustom Factory and the many activities.
