Renault is opening the order books for its large hybrid SUV. Deliveries will begin before summer.
We almost forgot about that one! Unveiled early in June 2023 (Renault wanted to take advantage of the setting of the Le Bourget air show), the Rafale will arrive in dealerships just before summer 2024. Before that, the brand opens the order books.
As a reminder, the Rafale is Renault’s new attempt at the top of the range. The model takes the form of a large SUV coupe, 4.71 meters long (around fifteen centimeters longer than the Arkana). The Rafale is derived from the Austral, but its exterior look is completely new, with the new codes put in place by Gilles Vidal.
At launch, the range is simple, we find a single simple hybrid unit of 200 hp. This engine will make it possible to escape the penalty, because Renault is currently announcing emissions of 105 g/km of CO2. By the end of the year, Renault will offer a 300 hp plug-in hybrid version. It will have an additional electric unit at the rear, which will give four-wheel drive.
