Toto Wolff has spoken about his concern over Lewis Hamilton’s future in F1. Mercedes would claim the departure of Masi at the head of the race direction.

A interview the Toto Wolff, boss of the stable Mercedes F1, recently appeared in the Austrian newspaper, Crown newspaper. In particular, he explains his worry as to Lewis Hamilton returns in the Formula 1 paddocks:

No matter what obstacle was thrown at him, he knew all his life that he had to speak on the circuit. But it is incredibly difficult for him to find a path between understanding the law and injustice. It takes time. I really hope we see him again. This is the most important part of our sport. It would be an admission of weakness for the whole of Formula 1, if the best driver decided to stop because of scandalous decisions.«

We understand in this interview that he himself is not sure of the future of his pilot. He also rejects the mistake of this possible stoppage of the competition of the seven-time world champion on the race director, Michael Masi. The question of whether Lewis Hamilton will be on the starting grid for the first Grand Prix of the 2022 Formula 1 season has yet to be answered.

According to our colleagues from Daily Mail, the team insists on the decision of the SON optimize its hierarchical organization and completely reform the regulations to avoid reproducing the controversy of the final in Abu Dhabi. This is why the representatives of the world champion team in title wish to see Michael Masi being sacked of his status as race director.

Once again according to the sources of the English newspaper, the CEO of the Mercedes team must meet today the new president of the International Automobile Federation, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, to discuss the matter and the future of Lewis Hamilton.
