Already presented at the end of the year when the GTS variants arrived, the Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo unveils its full range and its prices, which start at €89,324.
At the end of 2021, Porsche unveiled the GTS variant of its Taycan electric sedan, and took the opportunity to present the Sport Turismo station wagon. Derived from the Cross Turismo, it loses its adventurer attributes to become a sporty station wagon, still 100% electric. At the start of the year, Porsche formalizes the marketing of this third variant of Taycan, with a now complete range.
Five variants in the range
As with the Taycan sedan and breakaway versions, the Sport Turismo has five versions: the entry-level, in propulsion and equipped with 408 hp, followed by the all-wheel-drive variants 4S (530 hp), GTS (598 hp), Turbo (680 hp) and Turbo S (761 hp). The base variant and the 4S can have a Performance Battery Plus option, which boosts their power to 476hp and 571hp respectively. As for autonomy, it climbs up to 498 km in the 4S version. Thanks to the 800V charging system, the batteries can recover to 80% in 22 min.
The base Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo starts at €89,324, and therefore does not benefit from any bonus. It is therefore barely more expensive than the sedan variant (from €88,364), but almost €10,000 cheaper than the cross Turismo adventurer variant, displayed at €98,564. If the entry level is still displayed below 100,000 €, the bill climbs quickly since the high-performance Turbo S is close to 200,000 €, not counting any options.
