The French are amazing in this first day of the Monte-Carlo Rally. Sebastien Ogier continued its effort to put in the lead of the second special and of the general classification in front of Sebastien Loeb. But the Alsatian does not say his last word. He particularly impressed for his reckless side. He is the only driver to have recovered time in the second part of this special to finish 1.3 seconds behind his compatriot. Neither of the two men wants to let go, their duel promises to be intense for this Monegasque weekend.
However, pay attention to Adrien Fourmaux which perfectly exploits its Ford Puma and sits at 4th rank just behind Elfyn Evans and his two idols. Note the sad performance of Hyundai, Who suffers from the transition to the hybrid era. At the end of the stage, the pilots reported countless problems, including Thierry Neuville which left an oil stain on the floor. Now for the general classification:
