Elfyn Evans goes off the road and retires during the 11th special of the Rallye Monte-Carlo. Sébastien Ogier took the opportunity to rush alone in the lead and take the lead over Sébastien Loeb. Summary of the special stage and general classification:
The snowy special at Saint-Geniez got the better of Elfyn Evans. While on his way to winning the 11th special of the Rallye Monte-Carlo, the Briton made a mistake. The Toyota Yaris being tanked on the roadside embankment, the red flag was raised before the end of the event. The 2021 vice-world champion ended up giving up, forcing Gus Greensmith to abort his attempt.

Sébastien Ogier took advantage of the situation to set the fastest time of the session ahead of Rovanperä, Breen and Loeb. He extends his lead in the general classification to 5.4 seconds over the nine-time world champion. Behind, 3rd place went to Craig Breen who performed well (P3 of SS11).
Once again, the Hyundais have experienced a nightmare. The Korean cars had made the bet to set off on soft tires on the snowy roads of the Rallye Monte-Carlo. A bet that turned out to be bad in view of the time sheet. After spinning off, Thierry Neuville struggled to reach the finish. While Ott Tänak had a good scare, narrowly escaping an exit from the road. The two drivers therefore finished 7th and 8th, i.e. penultimate and last of the 11th special of the Rallye Monte-Carlo.
