Did you like the Citroën Ami ? You will love the High. Ryan Schlotthauer, a young American design student, imagined what a micro electric car basic, without artifice and to assemble oneself, like a simple piece of furniture. He thus imagined a hypothetical collaboration between Renault and Ikea.
Ultra-compact with its 2.23 m long (compared to the 2.41 m of the Ami), the complete assembly of the Höga requires a little more than 370 parts to assemble. Note also that all the components are recyclable, all for “only” 6,500 dollars, or a little more than 5,300 euros.
This project will probably never see the light of day, but it shows that a small modular electric, to make yourself, is not necessarily science fiction.
