After testing speed bumps at 130 km/h, drifting with a bus and even driving with hydroalcoholic gel as fuel, the two Vilebrequin youtubers don’t even surprise us anymore.
But still, their concepts are still as interesting and fun to watch. And for the latest, it is at the level of the handbrake that it happens.
Indeed, the goal is to find out what happens when you engage it at 130 km/h in a straight line. And if they specify that it is not to be reproduced at home (logical), the results will not surprise unduly.
3 different operations
For this experiment, the two videographers used three different types of handbrake. First an electric. The latter reacts a little at 130 km/h but let’s be honest, it just brakes the car slightly.
As for the second, the classic mechanical handbrake, it marks the stop a little more. But whether it is placed at the front or at the rear of the vehicle, it doesn’t change anything and the wheels stay straight.
Finally, for the last test, youtubers have gone upmarket. So they used a hydraulic handbrake as for rally cars. Much more powerful and efficient, the latter almost returned them at 130 km / h. Fortunately (for once) the two men managed to stay on their four wheels, but it was just.
