Futur Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV (2023) – The Mercedes-EQ offensive, which will see six new vehicles hitting the market, started with the Mercedes EQA, in January 2021. This time our spies surprised the SUV EQE in its AMG definitionnear the Affalterbach headquarters in Germany.
Variation of the EQE sedan
Apparently the mid-size SUV will display a character very similar to that of the EQS SUV, unveiled last fall in the form of a concept car labeled Maybach. Its affiliation will also be evident with the EQE sedan from which it should take up certain style elements such as the optics or the bonnet. It will stand out with its raised station wagon silhouette, as well as its squarer wheel arches. The exterior modifications of the AMG model appear to be limited to a lower ride heightspecific rims incorporating AMG-branded brake calipers, as well as new bumpers sporting small fins at the front which are seen here for the first time.
Up to 4 AMG versions
Mercedes has filed three-digit alphanumeric trademark applications for EQE XXX, ranging from 250 to 600, suggesting a multitude of engine variants. For the sports versions, badged AMG, no less than 4 variations will see the light of day under the names EQE 43, EQE 53, EQE 55 and EQE 63. Nice programme! On the autonomy side, the machine could approach 600 km at the top of the range, when the entry ticket which should claim at least 120,000 €.
