In theory, you can benefit from 19,000 euros of local and national aid. In practice, it is more complicated.
It is a fact, it is becoming more and more difficult to circulate by car in the big cities, and in particular in Paris, while many restrictions have been put in place to ban vehicles deemed too polluting. While many motorists can in theory no longer access the capital, and more generally the entire perimeter located within the enclosure of theA86, the government is now doing everything to encourage them to switch to electric. Except that here, this type of engine is expensive, and is therefore not accessible to all. Fortunately, many aids have been put in place, which can be accumulated in some cases to reach € 19,000. But be careful, because not everyone can take advantage of it, because the conditions are very restrictive. Discover the possibilities available to you below.

The ecological bonus – up to € 7,000
For many years, it has been possible to take advantage of an ecological bonus for the purchase of a new electric car. This is currently capped at € 7,000 for all zero-emission models under € 45,000, and at € 2,000 for plug-in hybrids that can travel more than 50 km in electric mode. However, it will be necessary to act quickly to take advantage of it, because these amounts will be reduced by € 1,000 as of July 1st. It should be noted that electricity between 45 and 60,000 € are eligible for a bonus of 3,000 €, while those whose amount exceeds 60,000 € can no longer claim this aid.
Conversion bonus: up to € 5,000 (€ 6,000 in EPZs)
It is also possible to take advantage of the conversion bonus can be combined with the ecological bonus if you have a vehicle to be scrapped. This can then go up to € 5,000 for the purchase of a new or used plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle and € 3,000 if you opt for a new or used thermal vehicle. Be careful, because to take advantage of the maximum premium, you must declare a reference tax income of less than € 18,000 per unit, and discard a diesel prior to 2011 or gasoline before 2006. Then, the amount is revised to the decrease depending on your income.
It should also be noted that the maximum premium is increased to € 6,000 in the municipalities located in the ZFE du Grand Paris.
Aid from Greater Paris: up to € 6,000
Decidedly, the Metropolis is generous with motorists, since it also offers a bonus of € 6,000 to all those who reside in one of the 131 municipalities that make it up. Good news, this additional help is combined with the ecological bonus and the scrapping bonus and can only be obtained in the event of the scrapping of a thermal vehicle. The cost of the new vehicle must also not exceed € 50,000, option included and ecological bonus deducted. Finally, you should know that the amount of this aid depends on the date of the first entry into service of the destroyed vehicle, its fuel and household income.
Micro-credit: 5,000 € maximum
Finally, it is also possible to benefit from a micro credit 50% guaranteed by the State, intended for modest incomes to help them in the acquisition of an electric vehicle. Up to € 5,000 and with a reimbursement that can be spread over a maximum period of five years, this system can again be combined with the conversion bonus and the ecological bonus. To take advantage of it, you must then contact a social support service such as the Red Cross or Secours Catholique, which will then assist you in putting together a file. You can then go to an approved bank to validate this loan.
